All About Mrs. Eure

I moved to North Carolina almost 20 years ago after graduating from the State University of New York at Potsdam with a degree in Elementary Education and Sociology. I began my teaching career in 1997 in Roanoke Rapids, NC where I taught 5th grade. In 1999, I moved to New Bern, NC where I taught both 4th and 5th grade before moving to Washington, D.C. with my husband. We spent several years there before returning to Eastern North Carolina, where my husband grew up. I operated a preschool for a few years while my children were young before returning to Craven County Schools. I am beginning my fourth year teaching 1st grade at WJG and I am proud to be part of such an amazing school.

Outside of school, I am a mom to three busy kids, Cameron 16, Sydney 13, and Cody 10. In my spare time, I am a fitness instructor and enjoy spending time outside, running and paddleboarding.

I am excited to get to know your children this year! We are going to have a fun-filled year of learning.
