Guided Math

Guided Math is made up of several components which allow teachers to support each student's efforts at varying levels according to their needs. The components of Guided Math are:

1. A classroom Environment of Numeracy

2. Morning Math Warmups

3. Whole Class Instruction

4. Guided instruction with small groups

5. Math Workshop

6. Individual Conferences

7. An Ongoing System of Assessments

Gator Groups

Gator Groups are leveled reading groups that allow teachers to work with smaller groups of students on the same level. This allows us to focus on the instructional/educational needs of individual students so they we are able to better serve our students needs. Gator Groups take place daily and are a great tool used to better grow our students reading skills.
